Hubli Trip

This blog is on my recent trip to Hubli.

I know the place called Hubli from my childhood. One reason might be because of "Amaravathi Express" which travel to Hubli from our place (Vijayawada). One opportunity came to visit Hubli in the form of giving a guest talk in BVB engineering college. What a coincidence? This college is also well known as Sudha Murthy, Chair person of Infosys Foundation and writer studied in this college and my friend Allabhaksh is from this place. Finally I agreed to deliver the talk as part of 5 day workshop on WSN along with our team lead Dr.Kumar. I booked a first class AC ticket in Rani Chennamma Express and the travel day finally arrived. Even though I am ready with all my preparation of slides for the 2 lectures "Data Aggregation in WSN" and "Security Issues in WSN", still I am not fully satisfied with those. I wish to present in a still better way so reading the relevant information to add more content to my presentation.

Meeting Ex-Minisiter S.R.Moore:
By the time I reached the H1 Coach of Rani Chennamma Express, already an old gentleman was there in the 2-berth coupe. I wished him and informed him that I was going to Hubli for the first time. As train moved, we went to conversation and came to know that he was an Ex-minister of Karnataka. Felt guitly not to recognize him but this is not my mistake as I was not from this place.
Presentation went fine and response from the auidance was good. The hotel accomdation was good and nice food. The next day, visited few places in Hubli. I was a guest in the Validatory function of the workshop and given away certificates to few participants. Evening I visited Sai baba temple near Hubli Town Hall. Finally Returned to Bangalore in the same train, Rani Chennamma Express.
